COMPONENTS OF KPI
MATRIX TYPE
KPI Matrix Type defines the form category and state/department/division field. This is a must as KPI scoreboard can be created from any category of forms. Application approval flag which is defined for the form approval in Data Approval system must be configured here.
Here you can also define the program approval status if KPI scorecard needs to get data from the approved programs only. Matrix type must be created before a matrix can be created as matrix depends on matrix type to define such rules and targets.
KPI MATRIX
KPI Matrix is the main engine for the calculation of data for KPI scorecard. This feature defines the rules for data calculation, defines grades based on calculated data and set the target values. In matrix, you can choose different type of agency such as states, departments and divisions to create your scorecard later.
Here you need to choose matrix type as matrix depends on matrix type to define its rules and targets. Each matrix can support multiple matrix types. Minimum requirement is one.
GRADING SYSTEM
Grading flags is defined based on the KPI matrix calculation. Qualitative indicators are often used in surveys. Instead of confusing the participants of the survey with questions like “on a scale from 1 to 10, how do you rate …?” companies prefer to give natural-choice options – “Bad, Average, Good, Excellent.”
You can set name of your grade and color for the grade. Grade's short name should be short and unique as this name will be displayed under the scorecard.
KPI SCORECARD
KPI Scorecard is the main view for KPI which displays the Performance Indicators based on the configurations defined in selected matrix type and matrix. Here you can configure data filtration settings which defines how data has to be filtered during data retrieval.
You also can configure data aggregation settings to define the aggregate of a field from the form. The KPI Scorecard data can be exported to different formats like PDF, excel or csv. It also has a feature to visualize using Charts.
